1st Bryanston performs at Field Day 2025

Every year in Pretoria, Scouts and Cubs gather for Field Day, one of the biggest highlights on the Tshwane Scouting calendar. First held in 2014, this annual event was initiated by the Tshwane District of Scouts South Africa under the leadership of District Commissioner Neil Falcon Marshall.This year I had the luck to be able to participate with my troop 1st Bryanston. We did all kinds of things like cooking, pioneering, first aid, sports and much more. It was packed with challenges, laughs, and moments I’ll never forget. This experience I think has taught all of us how important it is to work together and trust each other.
After all our effort, we were beyond proud to walk away with third place overall especially since it was our very first time competing as a troop. Hopefully it’s just the beginning, and we’ll be back for many more Field Days to come.
